10 years ago when Internet Explorer 6 was first released it was a major milestone for Microsoft in the maturation of their browser which was competing with Netscape as their primary competition. A lot of things have changed on the Internet in last 10 years but IE 6 continues to hold it worldwide market share of roughly 12%.
